Craftsman, Beymar Barrera, arrived on time, worked steadily, and carefully and creatively completed all tasks as discussed. Work areas were protected and cleaned up after work was completed. Excellent communication from all staff, whether with office or direct with craftsman, especially promised arrival and time to complete tasks, cost explanation, and follow-up.

Hambleton did a great job with my home projects. Over the years that I have used them, I have never been disappointed with their services and especially appreciate their ease of scheduling and attention to detail. Hambleton craftsman JP in particular did a fantastic job! His attention to detail and overall skill and professionalism was outstanding. Will definitely use Hambleton in the future and look forward to working with JP (and the rest of team) again!

I can’t recommend Roy highly enough! I hired him to move the plumbing for my washer and dryer to the upper floor, and he did a flawless job. Roy is incredibly knowledgeable and professional; he walked me through the process and made sure everything was up to code. He was prompt and actually finished the project earlier than I expected. If you need a reliable plumber who gets it right the first time, Roy is your guy. Thanks again!

Mar 2026We had work done with Hambleton Handyman before and were very happy with the work their craftsman, James Simpson did. This time around we needed our security (flood light) checked as it was functioning but coming on during the day, when it was not needed -- it was off at night when it was needed.James carefully troubleshot the wires and the flood lights and provided options. I did not want a security light to be on at all hours of the night. I thought it best to replace it with a proximity sensor light, which James installed for me. It is working perfectly.I also had James “soft-wash” the roof with a solution that would take care of the moss growing on the garage roof. In addition, I asked him to power-wash the front of the garage and the garage apron. It looks so much better now.Finally, James helped me get a Washer and Dryer from the 2nd floor to the garage where it can be picked up by Habitat for Humanity as both were not that old and in perfect working order.James is meticulous in his work and provided me with detailed cost estimate before proceeding. If the job is too involved or expensive, he was more than happy to provide options that are more in line with my expectations. It is very nice to have someone reliable and trustworthy for the small jobs around the house (and garage).We are very happy with the services Hambleton Handyman offers – a one-stop-shop for a variety of needs. I will continue to highly recommend Hambleton Handyman and by extension, their craftsman, James Simpson.Nov 2025James the craftsman, was very meticulous about inspecting all window shutters on the house and repairing the shutters that needed it. He explained the nuances of what he did and advised on some issues apparent (drying/cracking caulk on window frames) to other areas that I could not readily observe due to how high the windows are on our townhouse.I was extremely happy with the work James did!!! I highly recommend Hambleton Handyman services to anyone needing repairs. Quality work at a fair price! 🙂

I enjoyed the simplicity of scheduling a handyman for a job that needed to be done quickly. It was also nice that we could ask our handyman to do additional work as needed. The communication throughout the process was outstanding, and I highly recommend them.

"I cannot say enough positive things about your craftsman, Daniel Remmey. When he arrived, he stepped into a leadership role immediately. From his courtesy, to his professionalism, to his vast knowledge and abilities; Daniel is the professional my husband and I have been praying for. After only a few hours in our home, I felt like Daniel was not just our craftsman; he was our 'contractor'.In general, we were so pleased with Daniel and his work. More specifically, I appreciated his open and honest style of communication, which led to us building trust quickly. As we got to know each other a bit, we found out that we had things in common and it made for a very pleasant experience while he was in our home.Every job Daniel did was done perfectly. Information from scheduling through any discussion regarding work to be done was clear . My craftsman would check in with me if he had any questions about a project detail. He was prompt, very careful to leave no “trace” of work debris. He answered my questions with respect for what I did know as well as what I didn’t. The workmanship was excellent!

David Garcia Orozco is an absolute gem! He has done a lot of work for me and I am very happy with his service. He takes on everything I've asked of him, projects big and small, and done them all very well. My house is over 140 years old, so there is no end to projects that can be done, and often when David is working on something I requested he will uncover something else that needs to be done. He always explains and shows me why the additional work should be done and I've never felt that he is just trying to get me to spend more money needlessly, but that his skill and experience are such that he can identify things I would not have known about without him. He often suggests several options for ways to handle a repair, and the pros and cons, and explains why he thinks one option would be the way he would choose to go. I trust that his knowledge of so many different kinds of projects is worth taking his recommendations. He is an incredibly hard worker, often staying long days, after arriving very early in the morning, despite living pretty far from me.Another aspect of working with Hambleton Handyman that I really appreciated was how they handled things when something did go a bit wrong. I'd requested David to do the work this time as he'd been so great in the past. But he was on another project and wouldn't be available for a while so they sent another handyman. For several reasons this handyman was not a good match for the work I needed done and I left a message with the office at 4:30 on New Year's Eve about wanting to switch and wait for David to be available. I was able to get someone on the phone and my request was met and I was told I would get a call back from someone else regarding the service I was not happy with. I expected it to take a while to get a response and for it to be a hassle to get resolution, as is the case with most companies. So I was pleasantly surprised when I got a return call very quickly when they re-opened Jan 2 and the issue I had was immediately addressed and a resolution that was very fair was suggested by them. It is definitely a huge positive to find a company that resolves issues quickly and fairly as now and then issues are bound to happen in any job.Another positive with Hambleton Handyman is that their communication is excellent. I received multiple timely calls and messages about arranging work, and when the handyman would be available. He always showed up on time so there was no waiting around for someone to show up in some long time window.

When I put a request in for a Craftsman, I asked for Yordy Selma. Yordy had helped us out with other repairs and I had always been pleased with the quality of his work. This job was no exception. He repaired a heavy wooden door where the screws were pulling out of the hinges and the door did not close. He also applied glue to one of my dining room chairs where the arms were coming apart. Thank you Yordy for your much-needed expertise!
